The AFME Foundation is a nonprofit organization that brings filmmakers, musicians, artists and visionaries together to provide opportunities for future generations while increasing exposure and economic impact for the City of Albuquerque and the State of New Mexico.
The AFME Foundation presents the Albuquerque Film & Music Experience (AFME) each April. AFME hosts over 6,000 attendees and presents domestic and international movies, engaging industry panels and workshops, exciting networking events, live music and poetry performances, art exhibitions and an extraordinary platform to share stories and build strong personal and professional relationships. AFME also has year-round programs and events that benefit youth and students through the AFME Foundation Scholarship program.
