To provide support for older LGBTQ+ seniors in the Albuquerque Metropolitan Area through advocacy, social programs, education, support groups, and resource distribution. We counter isolation, fear, and loneliness by creating a caring community of LGBTQ+ elders who will look out for each other and share some laughs.

• Educating senior-serving providers in long term care (LTC) settings on the specific needs of older LGBT adults (LGBT cultural competency training). • Consulting to improve in-home and facility-based services for older LGBT adults, as well as the friendliness of low-income senior housing facilities. • Offering targeted support groups using our facilitators and in collaboration with other nonprofits (e.g., The NM Alzheimer’s Association and other area MeetUp groups). • Offering social events for older LGBT adults to address their service needs and reduce social isolation. • Maintaining an up-to-date listing of LGBT-friendly, senior-serving resources to connect people to services.
