NAMI Albuquerque provides advocacy, education, support, and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. We advocate at the county, state, and national levels for non-discriminatory access to quality healthcare, housing, education and employment for people with mental illness. The families and members of NAMI Albuquerque are here to offer understanding to anyone concerned about mental illnesses and the treatment of mental illness.

NAMI Albuquerque offers an array of outstanding peer-led programs that provide free education, skills training, and support.

NAMI Basics is a class for parents, guardians and other family caregivers who provide care for youth (age 22 or younger) who are experiencing mental health symptoms.

NAMI Family-to-Family is a class for families, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. Designated as an evidence-based program by SAMHSA, it facilitates a better understanding of mental health conditions, increases coping skills, and empowers participants to become advocates for their family members.

NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a class for adults with mental health conditions. The course is designed to encourage growth, healing, and recovery among participants.

NAMI Connection is a support group for people with mental health conditions. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by trained leaders who've been there.

NAMI Family Support Group is a support group for family members, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences.
