Camp Rising Sun provides an overnight summer camp experience for individuals with autism spectrum disorders(ASD),provides an evidence based,hands-on learning opportunity for students and professionals from the community and provides respite for parents and caretakers of individuals with ASD.

Camp Rising Sun, A Member of the Autism Programs at the UNM Center for Development and Disability, provides a specialized summer camp experience that serves individuals (ages 8-17)with ASD and their typically developing peers. Camp Programs include swimming, horseback riding, hayrides, arts and crafts, drama, and music.
