The mission of the Albuquerque Genealogical Society is to promote genealogy, provide educational aid for genealogical researchers, and support the genealogical collection and services of the Albuquerque Public Library Genealogy Center. AGS is an all-volunteer organization. We are in need of new leadership and have positions open to volunteers interested in genealogy and willing to spend time for this great organization.

We have monthly meetings with great educational programs, a Quarterly newsletter with informational articles, a monthly Research Day at the main library downtown open to the public where our expert genealogy volunteers assist researchers one on one.
