About This Role

Somos Un Pueblo Unido seeks a Workforce Development Policy Coordinator to advance workforce equity initiatives for immigrant and low-wage workers across New Mexico. Full-time, 32-hour work week; hybrid position based in Santa Fe. Start date August 3, 2026.

Responsibilities include supporting workforce policy development and legislative advocacy; monitoring legislation, budget proposals, and administrative rules related to workforce development; creating policy briefs, fact sheets, and testimony materials; coordinating statewide advocacy initiatives and stakeholder engagement; facilitating leadership development and organizer training; and conducting research and data analysis on workforce participation.

Qualifications: 2-4 years in public policy, workforce development, adult education, or a related field; bachelor's degree preferred; bilingual English/Spanish required; strong commitment to immigrant rights and economic justice; ability to travel statewide.
