About This Role

The National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC), a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, seeks an Education Programs Coordinator to develop and deliver arts education programming for youth, families, and schools. The NHCC is one of the largest Latino cultural institutions in the United States, dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and advancement of Hispanic culture, arts, and humanities.

Responsibilities include designing and facilitating workshops in visual arts, literary arts, and performing arts for diverse audiences; coordinating school group visits and outreach programs; collaborating with teaching artists; managing program budgets and grants reporting; and building partnerships with Albuquerque-area schools and community organizations.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in arts education, fine arts, humanities, or a related field; 2+ years experience in arts education or youth programming; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; knowledge of New Mexico cultural traditions and history.
