Development Manager

About This Role

Kindle Project, a creative philanthropic organization based in Santa Fe, seeks a Development Manager. This fully remote position is open to candidates anywhere in the U.S., with preference for those near Santa Fe. Start date August 3, 2026.

Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with individual donors and aligned funders with emphasis on high-value prospects; researching funding opportunities and writing grant proposals and letters of inquiry; managing grant calendars and coordinating with staff on budgets and reporting; developing fundraising campaigns; and representing the organization at events and conferences.

Qualifications: 5+ years of fundraising experience with individuals and foundations; grantwriting expertise and prospect research skills; proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and nonprofit CRMs; strong written and verbal communication skills; self-motivated with strong attention to detail. Experience with endowment or legacy planning a plus.
