Communications Director (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Somos Un Pueblo Unido seeks a bilingual Communications Director to advance the organization's visibility and impact. Full-time, 32-hour work week; hybrid position based in Santa Fe. Start date August 3, 2026.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic communications plans aligned with organizational priorities; serving as primary media contact and building journalist relationships; managing digital platforms including newsletters, social media, and website content; supervising communications staff and contractors; and providing media training and communications support to leadership.

Qualifications: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required; experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or nonprofit communications; ability to develop and execute strategic plans; valid driver's license and willingness to travel statewide. Staff supervision experience and proficiency with tools like EveryAction or Adobe preferred.
