About This Role
The Santa Fe Community Foundation seeks an Arts Program Officer to manage grantmaking in the arts and culture sector and support the foundation's work connecting donors with arts organizations across northern New Mexico. The Santa Fe Community Foundation manages over $250 million in charitable assets and awards millions in grants each year to nonprofits serving the region.
Responsibilities include reviewing grant applications, conducting site visits, making funding recommendations, managing relationships with grantee organizations, developing learning resources for arts nonprofits through the Learning Hub, and representing the Foundation at community events. The Arts Program Officer will also assist donors interested in supporting arts and culture with their philanthropic goals.
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in grantmaking, arts administration, or nonprofit management; strong understanding of the northern New Mexico arts ecosystem; excellent analytical and communication skills; experience in program design or evaluation preferred.
